The Formation of The P.B.R. Band
(which is completely and 100 percently unrelated to any professional rodeos or beer manufacturer, although a sponsorship would be nice.)
In September of 2005 in Winfield, KS, a group of Lawrence and Kansas City friends got together for some picking and drinking. After much picking and nearly as much drinking, they decided to start a band. 5 minutes later, they shot to fame and fortune as they played their alternative approach to country music to the masses at the Walnut Valley Festival. Unfortunately, 7 minutes later disaster struck as they realized that they couldn’t agree on what to name this all-star band, and proceeded to break up the band. Groupies mourned, roadies cried, and even the cops got a little choked up. But, that was only the beginning, for upon completion of the very next beer they had resolved all of their differences and were ready for their comeback tour. This is that comeback tour.
