Brookeside Express

Brookeside Express consists of Jay Noland (lead vocals, guitar), Tim Little (mandolin, vocals), John Bara (percussion), Alex Sokol (bass, vocals), and Roland Manbeck (harmonica, vocals). BE has been together nearly three years playing occasional festivals and private events. We present a variety of songs covering bluegrass, old time/gospel folk, country, Grateful Dead, and blues… all designed to elicit toe-tapping, singing and humming which is part of a carefully guarded conspiracy to expand the universe with positive energy. Above all else, we enjoy having fun sharing music and most of us jam regularly with a wide circle of friends.
