Band lineup for 2008 finalized – early registration ending soon

The stage schedule for 2008 has been finalized and posted to the site. A total of 15 bands representing musical genres including old-time Appalachia music, Bluegrass, Celtic, Swing and more are signed up to perform. We’ve got 5 hours of performances scheduled on Friday, and 11 hours on Saturday—not to mention the great pickin’ in the campground.

If you’re going to spend the whole weekend with us you may as well pre-register online and save $4 (as long as you do so by June 15).

Hey everybody! We just finished putting the schedule for this year together and we’ve posted it on the Website at http://www.stringbandrendezvous.com/the-music/2008-schedule/. Plenty of bands are lined up—both Rendezvous veterans and a few newcomers.

Be sure to register online early for the entire weekend to save some dough, and streamline your check-in when you arrive. You can register on the site at http://www.stringbandrendezvous.com/products-page/

Hey all! Welcome to the site. If this is your first time here you might want to hit the “Welcome” link at the top left there to get a bird’s eye view.

In way of updates, we’ve updated the list of Bands performing this year on the Music page. We’re workin’ on finalizing the schedule for the weekend and just as soon as we have it nailed down we’ll post it online. But hey, all the bands are great so just plan on enjoying them the whole weekend!

Online registration is enabled, you can prepay via PayPal which will make your check-in faster when you arrive at the camp site. Just hit the “Register” link above.

Finally, we sent out a short email notice to those who have registered on the site in the past, or attended a previous Rendezvous. If you got that email but don’t want to get future updates from us, the unsubscribe link in the email may not have worked for you. If that is the case, you can visit this page to unsubscribe.

Gearing up for the ‘08 Rendezvous

Hello there partners! Lots of work has been going into the 2008 Strinband Rendezvous. We’ve got some terrific bands lined up and looking for a few more to round out the weekend. The Website is getting a new coat of paint and pretty soon we’ll have a schedule up with information on this year’s line up. Do us a favor and spread the word — the more the merrier!
