Campsites

Within Bloomington West there are twenty-five individual, spacious campsites. Each equipped with picnic tables, BBQ grills, fire rings and parking pads with space for 2 or 3 vehicles. Even though there are no hook-ups for RVs and/or travel trailers, there is ample parking room for them. You might consider bringing some firewood for that late night jam.

Modern bathhouse

Hot and cold running water and flush toilets makes it hard to believe you’re camping. This bathhouse is utilized only by our group and not the “lake community”. Showers are located within the Men’s and Women’s restrooms. We’ve never run out of hot water for those morning showers.

Playground

One of the most recent improvements is the children’s playground. Fun, safe equipment for the kids is in close proximity of the bathhouse.

For the bigger kids, there’s the horseshoe pits and the sand volleyball court. And if you are so inclined, don’t hesitate to bring your bicycle.

Covered dining shelter

There is an open-air shelter with electrical outlets for you to use. (Please note, the Park asks that you don’t run extension cords outside the shelter). In past years, we set up a stage in this area with a little sound system. This is where our featured bands play on Saturday afternoon and Friday & Saturday nights.
