Howdy, partner!

Hope you can join us for the 13th annual Stringband Rendezvous, June 9-12th.

Stringband Rendezvous

Join us for the 13th Annual Stringband Rendezvous June 9-12, 2016.

The Stringband Rendezvous is a four day weekend of camping, playing music and spending time with friends.  It is held at a group campground on the west side of Clinton Lake, just south of Lawrence, KS.

This is a family friendly event.  Kids are welcome, but please leave your pets at home.  No drugs, and no excessive use of alcohol please.

The monetary donation for the weekend is $10 for a day pass, $20 for one night of camping, $30 for two overnights or $35 for the entire weekend, which includes three nights of camping.  A child under 16 accompanied by a parent is not required to make a donation.

All attendees must wear a wristband while on site.  Get yours when you check in and/or register at the campground, or find Garry Bury.

For those of you who have attended over the years, you may be looking for a band schedule.  We are focusing on jamming and socializing for the weekend and are not formally booking bands to perform.

The Campground

Bloomington West is a terrific setting for the Rendezvous. It is a Corps of Engineers park, and no Kansas State Parks sticker is required to camp or park on site.

Get involved

We always need help checking people in, keeping the campground clean and organized and other tasks. Your time can be donated in lieu of a monetary contribution.

Streamline the check-in process by registering online. Otherwise we’ll collect your contribution when you arrive at the campground.
