Join us for the 13th Annual Stringband Rendezvous June 9-12, 2016.
The Stringband Rendezvous is a four day weekend of camping, playing music and spending time with friends. It is held at a private campground on the Western side of Clinton Lake in Lawrence, KS.
This is a family friendly event. Kids are welcome, but please leave your pets at home. No drugs, and no excessive use of alcohol please.
The requested donation for the weekend is $10 for a day pass, $20 for one night of camping, $30 for two overnights or $35 for the entire weekend, which includes three nights of camping. A child under 16 accompanied by a parent is not asked to make a donation.
Attendees must wear a wristband while on site. Please register on the way in, or find Garry Bury.
For those of you who have attended over the years, you may be looking for a band schedule. We are focusing on the jamming aspect of the weekend and are not booking bands in advance.
Bloomington West is a terrific setting for the Rendezvous. It is a Corps of Engineers park, and no Kansas State Parks sticker is required to camp or park on site.
We do welcome bands to play at the shelter, where a sound system will be available. Slots are on a first come, first served basis. Visit our volunteers on-site.
Register online to support the Rendezvous and get your spot reserved. We also welcome donations at the gate.
